Volunteer with us!

August 22nd - 23rd
Liberty Park | Spokane, WA

The Village is built by community. Volunteers are how it actually happens.

When you give a shift, you're the reason a family feels welcomed the second they walk in, the reason a neighbor finds the help they came for, the reason this place feels like care instead of a line.

Why it matters

You'll help create a space where people get real care with zero barriers, where neighbors feel respected, and where joy and healing share the same space. It only takes 75 minutes. Give one shift, or give the whole day, either way, you're part of it.

Roles

We'll match you by interest, availability, and skill. No experience needed, we'll train and support you:

  • Welcome & Check‑In: greet individuals, help people find their way, set the tone.

  • Zone Support: lend a hand in the health, housing, food, youth, or wellness areas.

  • Food & Hospitality: meals, hydration, and making people feel taken care of

  • Youth & Family: games, art, and creative space for kids

  • Logistics: setup, breakdown, keeping the day flowing

  • Stories of the Day: help neighbors share their experience and capture the moments that matter

What we ask

  • One 75-minute shift, minimum

  • A short orientation, virtual or in-person

  • That you meet every person with respect, warmth, and zero judgement

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old unless volunteering with an adult.
